A Special Wedding in Kihei

Congratulations Emily and Andrew!  This happy and loving couple from San Francisco were married on September 30th at the My Waii and Wailele Beach houses in Kihei.

It was a picture perfect day as Emily prepared for the special moment when she would say “I do” to the love of her life, Andrew.  Maui Makeup Artistry was on hand to give the bride that extra special touch to her hair and makeup.  Emily chose to have her short hair softened with light curls and her makeup in natural shades with bold eyes.  Chelsea and Justin of Creative Island Visions Photography was there to capture all the sweet moments that will serve as the visual memories of this special day in their lives.

What made this wedding so special was the personal touches they added by having the brides father, Tom, officiate the ceremony and by having the grooms father, Kent,  play violin.  Tom was able to share the love these two share on such a personal level and having the sweet tunes Kent playing just added that extra special touch.

After the ceremony guests were treated to delicious beverages from Bars Are Us.  As guests mingled for cocktail hour they enjoyed the lovely views of the pacific ocean and the incredible sunset.  The beautiful decor for the day, including the rustic rentals, were provided by Signature Events Maui.  The floral decor, provided by Ha’awina Farms, incorporated locals flowers such as protea and ginger and added a nice Hawaiian touch to the space.  The colors of teal and light pink came thru not only in the flowers but in the runners, the guest book, and place cards at each seat.

For dinner, guests were treated to the delicious food prepared by Chris of Tarragon Catering Maui.  After dinner guests were surprised with a special treat flown in all the way from San Francisco, the famous It’s It’s Ice Cream Sandwiches!  Mahalo to Kara Bryne and Veronica Gray for being the Day-Of Coordinators for Emily and Andrews special day.
