A Traditional Wedding at Maria Lanakila Church

Congratulations to Renita & Jason, married at Maria Lanakila Church in Lahaina!  This fun couple chose to have a traditional Catholic ceremony in the church, then headed over to Sugar Beach Villa for a fun ceremony afterwards.

Father Eamon officiated the ceremony and incorporated traditional elements of a catholic wedding including the offering of flowers to Blessed Virgin Mary and Liturgy of the Word read by the groom’s brother.  Kaua Photography was on hand to capture all the magical moments these two shared with their family and friends.  The talented folks at Hawaii Video Memories filmed the ceremony.  Bella Bloom provided the deep purple and blue florals to decorate the church aisle as well as the reception dining tables.  Dan Lax Trio played some beautiful classical songs during the ceremony which captivated the guests and brought about a romantic emotional tone to the moment.

After the ceremony at the church, everyone enjoyed a lunch break then headed over to Sugar Beach Villa for the reception.  Sugar Beach provided the catering, bar, and made the bride and groom a wonderful and simple two tier wedding cake.  Hawaiian Style Event Rentals provided the furniture and decor details were from Etsy.  As guests arrived at Sugar Beach they were welcomed by David Wolfe’s live music then later guests danced the night way to the sounds of DJ Del Sol.

Mira Carmen was on hand first thing in the morning for the brides hair and makeup.  Chauffeured Services provided transportation and Elly’s Formal Wear serviced their attire so it was picture perfect.  It was a fun filled night with traditional Indian dancing, laughter and happiness.
