Congratulations to Alyssa and Chris who were married on a beautiful sunny day at The Olowalu Plantation House in Lahaina, Maui. The couple from Las Vegas, Nevada, invited their closest family and friends to help them celebrate. The bride and groom chose to make their ceremony very personal by inviting one of their good friends to officiate. Guests enjoyed the seaside setting as DJ Del Sol played the couple’s favorite music from arrival to end of evening.
After the ceremony, guests relaxed and mingled on the oceanfront lawn for the cocktail hour. Food for the Soul Catering served up delicious hand passed hors d’oeuvres such as Japanese Niku Dangu Meatballs and Caprese Skewers while the bartenders served up creative cocktails such as Pineapple Mules and Mango Mai Tais. The bride and groom were whisked away by their amazing photographer, Kaua Woessner of Kaua Photography, for a dramatic shoot on the pier at sunset.
After sunset, everyone was invited to their dining tables to begin a traditional Hawaiian Luau Feast featuring local specialties such as Kalua Pork, Shoyu Chicken, Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi and Purple Molokai Sweet Potatoes. For dessert, a Funfetti Wedding Cake!
Toasts, First Dance & Parent Dances took place next and then everyone joined in on the dance floor. It was a fantastic time celebrating with this amazing couple. Alyssa and Chris, we wish you the very best! Thank you so much for making us a part of your special day.
A huge “Mahalo!” (“Thank You”) to all of our amazing vendors who helped make the day truly special.
