A wedding coordinator knows everything about planning a wedding here on Maui. Your coordinator will guide you throughout the planning process from budget to event design to entertainment. Our goal is to offer each couple superior service and attention to detail. We wish for every couple to arrive on Maui knowing that no detail has been left untouched and to simply relax and enjoy knowing that we will take care of you and your guests.
We not only help you plan your Big Day but also work with you on everything in between. We can guide you, your family and guests to the best accommodations Maui has to offer and book fun activities to do all week. We love to offer advice on the best restaurants, shopping, snorkeling, surf spots . . . anything you need to know.
We decided to start Your Aloha Wedding Company to plan weddings here on Maui the way we would want ours to be planned. Your Aloha Wedding Company was started by three friends seasoned in the wedding industry in different backgrounds coordinating venues to Maui wedding packages.
We offer full wedding ceremony and reception coordination services. We are there from set up to clean up. We make sure that every vendor is at the right place at the right time. We make sure your event flows smoothly and handle everything on your day so that you won’t need to worry about a thing!
We also offer one of the finest teams of photographers and videographers in the business. They capture every moment from the wedding party getting ready to the last dance of the night with a unique touch that captures your memories for a lifetime.

Meet Our Team
Kara Byrne, Owner & Wedding Coordinator
Originally from Washington, D.C., I moved to Maui to pursue a new career and found my niche in coordinating weddings. I traveled the world for a year before “landing” on Maui and fell in love with its beauty and people. I have a background as a professional equestrian and as a software sales manager. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in English and Art History. Coordinating weddings has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Getting to know each couple in such a way that ensures their wedding is completely about their style and taste is something I look forward to from our first contact. Planning such a special event over the course of a year and seeing it come to fruition is truly remarkable. I am honored when asked to be a part of it.

Veronica Gray, Wedding Coordinator
Veronica joined Your Aloha Wedding Company in 2015. Helping couples plan one of the happiest days of their lives and seeing it come to fruition is extremely rewarding for her. The smiles, tears of joy, and celebrations of love that Veronica experiences with each wedding are her favorite moments.
Veronica baked cakes and sweets for weddings for several years. She loved the things she saw and the feelings she felt when she would deliver her baked goods to her clients’ weddings. These experiences, along with her attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills, led her to a new career as a wedding coordinator.
Veronica has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in Library & Information Science from University of Hawaii, Manoa.
She grew up in the small, rural community of Laveen, Arizona, just southwest of Phoenix. Veronica moved to her island home of Maui in 2001. The things she loves best about Maui are the beaches, ocean, and weather.
When she’s not planning weddings, Veronica spends her time at the beach, with family and friends, cooking, and baking.

Lauren Miller, Wedding Coordinator
After having her own wedding planned by Your Aloha Wedding in 2017, Lauren officially joined our team early 2022 as one of our Coordinators.
Lauren is originally from Tampa, Florida, graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in elementary education. After college, she moved to Spain where she worked as an English Teacher, leading her to join Continental Airlines as a Flight attendant in 2012. Having worked as a flight attendant for over 10 years, she has had the opportunity to travel the world, exploring new places and cultures, and even meeting her husband!
Remaining close friends with her wedding planner, Lauren always stayed connected to us and loved seeing all of the photos from our beautiful wedding days. She has always loved wedding days and all the special details, and is so excited for this next chapter as a wedding coordinator. She loves building relationships with our couples and working with them to plan one of the most special days of their life.
Lauren enjoys paddle boarding, canoeing, sunny beach days, traveling with her husband, and throwing dinner parties for friends and family. She is so grateful to call Maui home with her husband and cat "Pepi".

Maria Maxim, Day of Wedding Coordinator
