Fortunately, the world is a big, beautiful place, and you have no shortage of great honeymoon destinations to choose from. And, while you definitely should explore all of your options, there are a few sites that definitely deserve your consideration.
Lanai
If you’re like most people, then, when you think of Hawaii, you think of beautiful, tropical Maui. And, while Maui is certainly a great pick for a honeymoon spot (Maui weddings are amazing also), also look into the less traditional option of Lanai. Ride horses, go snorkeling, swim in the ocean, and so much more. Luxurious resorts abound, as do great nightlife and restaurants. In fact, Lanai is particularly well known for its delicious and deliciously fresh poke.
Amalfi Coast
Want to go abroad for your honeymoon? Then consider Italy’s Amalfi Coast.
Set up like a charming, rustic village, this area offers gorgeous architecture to gaze at and explore, as well as exotic beaches and five-star dining, shopping, and nightlife opportunities.
Austin
Most people don’t really think Texas when they think romantic honeymoon, but who says you have to be like most people? Austin is a great spot for any couple who loves live music, breathtaking natural scenery, and more nightlife and downtown happenings than you’ll know what to do with.
Wherever you choose to go on your honeymoon, you’re sure to have a great time because you’re with the one you love. However, a little extra planning and thought can make this special time even more wonderful for you and your new spouse.
