Must Have Wedding Pictures
On your wedding day, you can expect to smile and say “cheese” a lot. Photos are just part of the tradition. With that said, though, you’ll want to make sure that you get all the traditional photos, as well as any extras you have in mind. If you’re not sure where to start or which pictures to request, don’t worry. A good photographer who is experienced with weddings should have a clear itinerary in mind. However, just in case, insist that you get at least these must-have pictures.
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen
While everyone in the wedding party is important, your bridesmaids and groomsmen are more than likely your true nearest and dearest. As such, make sure you get several shots with both you and your beloved alongside these all-important attendants.
The Venue
You’ll want to remember every last detail of your wedding, including the venue. And, whether that venue is the beautiful beaches of Maui or your childhood church, get some photos that showcase it in all its wedding-day glory. In fact, you’ll probably want at least a couple of photos of just the venue itself.
Separate Sides
Weddings are about coming together, but you still want to showcase who was there for each member of the couple. Thus, be sure and get a photo with the bride and everyone from her side and a photo of the groom and everyone from his side. All-together shots are nice too, but don’t skip over these special, solo photos that highlight individual families before they become officially united.
The First Dance
One of the most memorable wedding moments is having your first dance with your spouse. Check that photographers are available and ready to go during this all-important moment. A good photographer should take plenty of action pics, including up-close shots. However, you can also do some posed dancing moments after the real thing takes place.
Your wedding photos are something you’ll cherish for the rest of your life. To ensure yours turn out as wonderful and memorable as possible, make an effort to squeeze in all of these special pictures and then some.
