Have These Items Handy on Your Wedding Day

Ah, your wedding day. It’s a time of great joy . . . and of great stress! There’s so much to do and to remember. However, your day will probably go much more smoothly if you make an extra effort to remember these must-have items.

Smell-Good Stuff

No one wants to smell bad on their wedding day. Unfortunately, though, it happens. You’re rushing around. You’re nervous. Plus, you may even be somewhere warm, tropical and fabulous like getting married in Maui. As such, it’s a wise idea to have some “smell-good” items on hand for freshening up. You can buy handy deodorant wipes, a travel-size deodorant, or maybe just some perfume or cologne.  Whatever you bring, it should help you to feel more confident as you give and receive countless wedding hugs.

A Portable Steamer

Your wedding clothes have probably been pressed to perfection. But, last minute wrinkles happen. Be prepared with a portable steamer that is easy to use. You’ll be able to perfect your clothes and anyone else’s before the actual ceremony starts, ensuring everyone looks their absolute best.

Last Minute Makeup

Chances are that you and your bridesmaids are having your makeup done professionally. Even so, it’s smart to keep a few items at the ready for last minute touch ups. Extra lipstick, mascara, and anything else that’s likely to smudge or budge will likely come in handy.

Headache Medicine

Headaches, tense muscles, and minor pain are common on the wedding day. After all, you’re probably nervous and over-excited, and your body has a way of letting you know it. So, pack a bottle or two of headache medicine just in case. Let your wedding party members know you have it available too just in case anyone else isn’t feeling their best.

These little extras can be a big help on the big day, so don’t forget them. Additionally, go through your day in your head and try to think of any other items you may need. Write them down or physically pack them as soon as they come to mind. That way, you’ll be sure to have everything you need.
