Last-Minute Tasks for the Bride-to-Be
When you’re getting married on beautiful Maui, your wedding-day focus should be on enjoying the moment and making memories, both with your soon-to-be spouse and the members of your wedding party. With that said, however, there are always those brides who just can’t sit still . . . who get more nervous waiting around than they would if they had something to do. If you’re one of them, know that there are some last minute wedding day tasks you can handle without adding in too much stress.
Do Something Special for Your Groom
Since the wedding day is all about you and your partner as a couple, why not do something sweet for your groom on the big day? All too often, weddings are all about the bride, so the groom definitely deserves a special treat. Write him a sweet letter or card or wrap a gift and then, if you’re keeping to tradition, have someone in the wedding party deliver it. It’s a great way to occupy your mind and further strengthen you and your partner’s bond on your special day.
Prepare Tips
Tipping is considered customary when it comes to your vendors. If you haven’t already done so, soothe your jitters by determining appropriate tips for your vendors and then sorting them into envelopes for easy distribution. Even better yet, you and your partner can decide on tips ahead of time and then you can simply get them ready on the big day and maybe add a sweet thank-you note into the mix.
Check Your Honeymoon Accommodations
Anxious brides are often thinking ahead to the future, such as their honeymoons. If you’re worried about anything related to your honeymoon, call the hotel or other accommodations providers and get confirmation that everything is set to go according to plan. Not only will this ensure a wonderful honeymoon, but it will also allow you to clear your mind of any potential problems and focus on what really matters most.
Modern wisdom advises that brides not do anything on their big day except, well, get wed! However, every person is different. And, if you’re someone who does better with something to do, these are some great but simple tasks you can easily save for the big day or soon before.
